In December 2009 St Mary and St Giles Junior School received an outstanding Ofsted Report. As a result we are not expecting a further Ofsted Inspection for some time - however that does not mean we are resting on our laurels! Each year the Governors and Staff produce a School Development Plan and implement it to ensure that we are always striving to provide excellent education for every child.
At the moment we are about to embark on a building project to provide an Art Room for the school and increase the facilities for the children in the creative curriculum areas. The building work is due to start in the Autumn Term and be finished by February half-term.

The SIAS report is the Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools and this inspection takes place soon after an Ofsted Inspection. In the SIAS the inspector is looking at how distinctive the school is as a Church School and how that contributes to the children's experience of education.
As with our last Ofsted Report, the SIAS inspector found our school to be outstanding and you can read the full report by clicking on the link below.
