Bishop Jonathan Visit

Bishop Jonathan visited our school on Monday 6th February to open and bless our new Art & Craft Room. We were delighted to welcome back Mr Meirion Morgan as the Headteacher who planned the extension, and Diocesan Surveyor, David Mitchell as well as Mr James Taylor from Edgar Taylor who built the extension.
Following the opening, Bishop Jonathan visited all year-groups and answered children's questions about his job as a bishop. Here are a selection of photographs from the day. Click on the photograph to enlarge it.

I am very grateful to Bishop Jonathan for making time in his busy schedule to come to St Mary & St Giles School. This is, apparently, the first school he has blessed, and we know that he was due to attend Synod this week, so are very grateful that he could squeeze us in!
